Ori, me, my life and my destiny: why is all that I do going wrong?

As Orixa's and Ifá's priest, I serve different kinds of people, and as a primary school to a college teacher, it’s common to see people say: “Nothing that I do works well”, or even, “All has luck except me”. In Yorubá Philosophy we believe in an elemental divinity known as Ori. Essential not just to our existence, also by owning the concept of reason or for existence though.

In the cartesian world that we live in, we were taught that if we do correct things, everything is going to be all right, and as seen through history it’s not like that. Unfoutnetly, have diverse external cultural things such as gender, ethnicity, religion, and race, that can forbid any people’s development. The fact is, in our society who going to win is chosen.

Bring the clarification of Orixa’s philosophy, all these problems, social problems begin in the invisible world and the relation with Egbe Orun (spiritual family) and Ori (essential divinity that we are), then, the instability made our Ori Orun (our heaven’s essence that lives in our unconscious) clash of our Ori Odé (our essence that lives in our physical head and our conscious way). The clash of our Ori, even if we made correctly said to be things, including religious rituals, it’s not work, because it's established the disagreement between us and our Ori. Because of that is crucial to know about ourselves, our history, and the reasons why we came to this world.

Ori always sends us messages, and Ori talks with us through dreams, although we are not got used to writing our dreams and even less, sharing them with elders and hearing what they will say to us about them. In Yoruba culture, we are naturally collective. Nobody lives alone, and on the path we go is important to be advised by elders or by Ifa’s and Exu’s wisdom.

At Yorubá’s principle, we before born, choose our destiny, so the parents are in the habit to consult Babalawo to know the correct baby’s name and which name must be chosen according to the newborn’s mission on Earth.

These cultural habits were lost through the years, nowadays a determining factor to name a child is a famous artist, a movie, or the current soup opera most watched, and with this, we will name without sense to the children and on the life’s path, these names lose the sense and keep marking psychiatry problems in people.

Ori beyond a shadow of a doubt is a large concept, but by degrees, we need to investigate, and this investigation starts with an honest conversation with ourselves order through this sincere conversation, we can be brave and ask for help loyal and upright by whom can help us.

Consult Oracle helps people that are looking to be harmonized and live with well-being on Earth.
