Reconciliation

An essay about the theme of ancestry.

All cultures have the base of their existence comprehension, the way to live, the belief or beliefs in magic elementals, spiritual, all connected or having the nature as a mother and the shelter of human being that we are.

The beliefs myths, made people believe that at birth we sort out of big original, and when we died we return to the Creator back.

In this process of birth and search for perfection through ideal behavior like-minded to in death be chosen by the Creator’s light, we named religion, and replay behaviors na gestures of our social groups, these gestures are called culture, that is the repetition of life’s comprehension of elders.

Passing time, some groups start to standardize these manners, creating a conduct code, called today by ethics. Though the fact is, exists a consensus between myriad cultures, that we need to reverence our ancestors because we apprehend that they are the example of behavior that we must follow. Therefore are the Shamanistic spirits to Indigenous, the Orixás and Egungun or Vumbi to African people, and the Canonized to the catholic church. However, we can’t believe in ancestors just like objects, while also as all concepts and elaboration about life, habits, vegetables, and animals.

Western christianity shows a concept of reconciliation as a sacrament, where confessing the mistake is the complementary element, the parallel to the main element of divine grace. Though in cultures that believe in ancestors' cults, confessing it’s not just to take on mistakes committed, but starts a saga of cults when gratitude is the support.

Therefore, reconciliation goes compulsorily through a reverence of our origins, where communion is the search by our ancestors to reestablish spiritual contact, cultural and mystic with our family lineage.

Nevertheless in Brazil, we've got a big issue. The education of Brazilian people was broken, with lots of moral issues, in structural and in concept, making a great indigestible people salad, where the refusal of this historic training is the main plate.

In this context, reconciliation, and communion with our history is sometimes painful. How many people have refused their true history, how many families rise by the shadow of failure, because are built by rape, obligated marriage, or interest, how many children haven't seen in the parents the behavior that must imitate, and so forth. Moreover in our country, slavery, the violent miscegenation, have made a layer of people extremely vulnerable.

However, believers we are in God of Heaven, we need to claim our Ori (our heaven essence that lives in our physical head) strength to overcome obstacles, and even more, to take on, as shameful as that be our family story and thank.

Each culture has its way of reverence its dead people, but for those who don’t feel connected to any religion, my suggestion is the best way and also effective, including for religious people, is the pray and mentalization with a clean heart and pure feelings exempt by falsity.

The gratitude to the spiritual world, and the respect for our family lineage, make us understand that others, whom we can or can’t know, are also a tool for our reconciliation and knowledge development. Alone nobody becomes better or worse, just become neutral.

Just ungrateful people develop a relationship of exploration with other people. I can affirm, there is no love for others because there is no self-love, so, the reconciliation process is pass through reconciliation with me, with my story, therefore, conciliating, reconciliation, love and helping others, and recognizing in others the possibility of my improvement, reconciling myself with God and with my group.

Only those who are free can be liberators!
